FREE COLLEGE SEMINARS - EmPowerment 21 (aka EP21) at
the Central Library.
Only 2 seminars this school year: Sep 11, 2010 and Jan 8,
2011. The January seminar will focus on the FAFSA and how
to pay for college!
5th Workshop - May 15, 2010 (10:30am - 12:30pm) -
“Summer is here...how do you end the school year strong?”
This will be EP21's final workshop for this school year!
This month we are going to bring back college teens to answer
questions during our workshop as we close out another
successful year. We are also going to talk about what you
should do this Summer and the importance of
volunteering/internships (there will be opportunities announced
at the workshop). If you haven't seen last month's workshop,
check it out on www.empowerment21.com. Especially check out
video #6 of 10 through #10 of 10. Courtney Betz and
Kenneth Copeland wowed the crowd with incredible information
that changed the lives of some of those in attendance! You
don't want to miss this informative session where you may
hear the one thing that makes a difference in which college
you will attend and how you will pay for it. Join me at the

4th Workshop - Mar 13, 2010 (10:30am - 12:30pm) -
“Demystify the scholarship search & college entry process”
This workshop covered things like: FAFSA EFC & SAR results,
College Admission negotiations, Making tough decisions, EP21
Timeline, Posturing for next year, New EP21 TV Channel on
the Web, Counselor strategies, $100 presentation, laptop
raffle continued for those in attendance, etc., etc.
3rd Workshop - Jan 16, 2010 - “Getting your FAFSA done
and finishing the rest of the year strong”
This workshop will be presented by Mr. Nippy Betz of
Empowerment 21.com to help the teens better prepare for an
education in the 21st century. EP21 teaches teens and their
parents what Mr. Nippy has learned from his experiences by
helping his son and daughter get full-paid scholarships and
from books that he read. This workshop has proven to be very
beneficial in planning for a teen's college admissions.
2nd Workshop - Nov 7, 2009
A college education is very expensive. Imagine buying a new
car every year for four years! That’s what it cost for a year
of education these days. EP21 can help you by better
preparing you for an education in the 21st century. EP21
teaches teens and their parents what Mr. Nippy has learned
from his experiences by helping his son and daughter get full-
paid scholarships and from books that he read. This 90-
minute seminar includes the critical information included in the
book, “The 10 Things You Gotta Know About Paying For
College” by Brandon Rogers. Below is the outline for what will

This session will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2009,

notes. A free laptop will be presented along with other
prizes! The information EP21 shares with teens and parents
will only work if you hear it and then apply it. See you at the
next workshop! We will hold a 30-min Q&A session from 3:30
- 4:00pm, so get your questions ready.

Demystify the challenge of preparing your teens for college
and learn how to navigate the educational minefield of finding
the ever-elusive scholarship. Last year was AWESOME.
EP21 gave away many laptop computers and scholarships to
teens in the audience, just for showing up! Believe me when
