FREE COLLEGE WORKSHOPS - EmPowerment 21 (aka EP21)
and Central Library
Demystify the challenge of preparing your teens for college and learn how
to navigate the educational minefield of finding the ever-elusive scholarship.
The February 14th Workshop was AWESOME. We gave away a laptop
computer to a random teen in the audience, just for showing up! In March
we gave $100s away to Seniors just for showing up. Believe me when I say
that you don't want to miss the last two workshops this year! Join Nippy
Betz of EmPowerment 21 (register at www.empowerment21.com for a free
invitation to a future workshops) for the last two EP21 workshops of this
school year on Apr 18th (Changed to Apr 18th due to Easter), and May 9th
from 9 – 10:30am, as he teaches teens how they can access FREE money by
investing their own sweat equity simply by duplicating the successes of other
teens who have broken the code on how to obtain scholarships. EP21
Workshops are normally held on second Saturdays in the Warren H.S.
auditorium at 9411 W. Military Dr. Teens and Parents are encouraged to
attend. Show up on time because you never know what you might win!
Mr. Betz also does a workshop series in the downtown Central Public
Library auditorium on 600 Soledad St. His popular library educational
workshop series are FREE and open the public: The scheduled times and
topics for the four workshops are:
2nd Saturday, March 14th, 10:00 - 11:30 am – “Getting your FAFSA done
and finishing the year strong”
2nd Saturday, TBD - “The school year is over, now what do I do?”
2nd Saturday, Sep 12th 11:30 am to 1 pm – “Finding scholarships 101 – it’s
easier than you think”
1st Saturday November 7th 2:00 to 3:30 pm – “Demystify the scholarship
search & college entry process”

seat in this popular Central library educational workshops series. One hour
free parking available at Central Library Garage with validated ticket
